The Law

Legislation requires that any business, school, charity, place of work or worship must maintain systems so as to prevent danger. This includes electrical installations, portable appliances and fire fighting equipment.

 

All of our engineers are CRB checked, City & Guilds trained and hold up to date calibration certificates.

 

Environmental Policy:

PAT Testing - Any appliance found to be unsafe and unble to be corrected can be taken off site and disposed of in a suitable manner under the WEEE directive.

Fire Extinguishers - All condemned or end of use life extinguishers are recycled.

Paperless Reporting - Your certificate / report can be viewed on our website through our client login. This reduces paper and you will never lose a report again - it is stored safely electronically.

We have become aware of a problem affecting the Nodding Reindeer Silhouette Christmas Decoration.

It is possible that the product may suffer an electrical fault leading to a potential risk of electric shock when the handling the product in use.

Please could you STOP USING the product immediately and return the product to your nearest store where you will be given a full refund.

This safety notification only affects the Argos and Homebase Nodding Reindeer sold between 1st October 2010 and 28th November 2011. No other Argos or Homebase products are affected by this recall.
